QATTAWI FOR COUNCIL

Serving Ward 4: Safety, Solutions, Community

I have been a resident of Riverside for the past 39 years and have proudly called the Ward 4 neighborhood home for the past 18 years. This community is my home, and I am running for City Council to protect the quality of life we all value.
I believe leadership means showing up, listening, and doing the work — not just making promises. As President of a local neighborhood group and a member of multiple community boards, I work closely with residents and city leaders to address the issues that impact our neighborhoods every day. I have already met with community leaders and stakeholders to focus on real solutions for traffic concerns, roads, homelessness, fire protection, public safety, and responsible development.
I believe there must be a fair balance between the needs of the city and the residents who live here. Growth and progress should serve the people who call this city home, not burden them or sacrifice our quality of life.
If you are looking for a council member who listens, stands with residents, and follows through on their commitments, I would be honored to earn your vote for City Council, Ward 4.

Protecting our neighborhoods is personal to me. I strongly oppose warehouses being built next to our homes, schools, and places of worship because our families deserve safe, healthy environments. I’ve personally invested my time showing up, organizing and advocating to stop these projects from moving forward. As your City Council representative, I will continue to fight to keep inappropriate development out of Ward 4.
I’m focused on building a Ward 4 where people feel truly connected to their community. That means creating more farmers’ markets, holiday events, and neighborhood gatherings that bring people together while supporting our local businesses. Because when people show up, engage, and connect with one another, our entire community becomes stronger.
Your voice shapes this campaign. If there’s an issue affecting your street, your neighborhood, or your daily quality of life, Jessica wants to hear it directly from you. Traffic, safety, parks, local businesses, environmental concerns, or anything in between — your lived experience is essential to building real solutions for Ward 4. Share your concerns, your ideas, and your hopes for the community so we can work toward a stronger, more connected Ward 4 together.
